I am the Managing Attorney of this 4-attorney law firm. I have practiced the art and science of law in Los Angeles since 1980, over 27 years. I hold an A.V. Rating from Martindale Hubbell, the highest rating given by attorneys to another attorney. This firm is a Certified Woman Owned Business.
I have watched the law develop and mature, and sometimes change 180 degrees. I greatly respect the law and the legal process. I have well-rounded professional experience, a genuine enthusiasm for the law, and a commitment to community service.

- Family Law, Juvenile Dependency and Adoptions
- Business Law and Litigation
- Civil Litigation
Education
I hold Phi Beta Kappa Honors from Purdue University, and I served on the Law Review with Cum Laude Honors from Loyola University School of Law, Los Angeles. I was on the Dean's List throughout these programs of study.
Employment
I have practiced law in the litigation department of a multi national firm (Sidley & Austin), the litigation department of a medium sized firm (Shield & Smith) and most recently the specialized boutique firm (Paula S. Teske & Associates) I founded 22 years ago.
Teaching
I enjoy the camaraderie of the academic environment, the opportunity to share my knowledge and practical experience, and to explore new ways of communicating. For several years, I have taught various legal subjects, including Family Law, at El Camino College in Torrance, California. I have also served as an instructor at the University of W. Los Angeles Law School. I have taught Continuing Legal Education courses to attorneys in the area of Juvenile Dependency Law. I have also taught various community seminars on adoption, bankruptcy and juvenile dependency law.
